Charming small place, well organised and very efficient staff. Tastefully decorated and well-equipped hotel units with lovely bathroom. Perfect location to the Lake district. Also - short walk to a new permanent bridge. Good and savoury meals.

Perfect for a Group Getaway
Room was spacious enough, the staff were friendly & helpful. The dining room was set up nicely with a selection of books to read about the area. We had a killer meal at their restaurant, the steak & ale pie was something else! It was good to relax with friends and enjoy home-cooked meals. It really was like a hideaway.
It wasn't cheap, but for the experience we had, it was still acceptable.

We enjoyed trips on the lake and the spacious beer garden was perfect. The children's play area kept the kids happy while we soaked up the sun. Definitely recommend checking out the dining here. The meals were tasty! Just a heads-up, the shower space was a bit cramped, so keep that in mind.
The beds were pretty soft for my liking, making it tough for some of us to get a good night's sleep.

Great outdoor vibes, shame about the manager!
Chill spot with a nice garden area for the kids to play while we had drinks, but the owner was super rude when we didn't order food. Everyone was having a good time, but he still kicked us out! The bar staff were cool though and the drinks were decent. A great place if you want to keep it casual.

We loved the spacious beer garden with a cozy fireplace. The kids had a blast in the playground while we enjoyed our drinks. Plus, they're pet-friendly, so we had a lovely time with our dog, too!
For dads, it would be great if there were more kid-friendly dining options.
